This mentality, in general, is incredibly counterproductive.

Having a leader with this mindset will push your team into tiny boxes. Any progress made to build that standout team is nixed entirely.

Be positive. Use one-on-one conversations to build trust in each of your members. Give constructive feedback that is solution-oriented.

The more you single out your team, especially in meetings, the less they'll want to give their all. You'll stunt your company's growth for no real reason beyond an ego tied to power.
