Sensory meditation is so important! Generating a dynamic link to the things around you will help strengthen your mind cognitively.

One of my favorite forms is visual sensory meditation. Like audio, you take a minute to take in all the different variations of color. The greens in the leaves, in the grass, etc.

You'll notice that there's a lot more variation than you may see in the beginning.

This meditation has helped people move away from fight or flight and rational processing. It directly impacts the way we work and move through our day.
